 Well, it's been a busy week. In an attempt to gain favour among my gallentean piers in the Federation Navy, I have been carrying out jobs that have been reserved for capsuleers. This is to gain trust to do larger more important missions for them and so on and so forth. Unfortunately, this has not been without loss. I was finishing off a mission and flying through the region called Placid. It's considered to be the border of Intaki/Syndicate space, and therefore the security level of it is considerably lower. Pirates had been gate camping, sitting a few kilometers off it, looking for a good target for some time. I have recloned before, but this was the first time from combat. It was... something else. I didn't feel any pain, and the transfer of it didn't seem to take all that much time either. A cup of tea and a bit of chocolate and I was back in my pod to fly again. I am starting to realise the nonchalant attitude of fellow capsuleers that I speak to in the Summit chat room.

My biggest worry when I started this was that I would forget to take notes of my thoughts and feelings. I guess that was true? Is it possible that I am starting to lose touch with my own emotions like Charles mentioned all those months ago. Sure, I still get the shakes in combat, but they are not from panicking or worrying, they are from euphoria. That excitement of testing my skills against another. Like gladiators from the storybooks, striking at each other, blocking, parrying back and forth, vying for that killing blow. Maybe this is something all capsuleers experience, and maybe what leads them to that god complex I've seen? YC122.10.29 - Crimson Harvest

  //PERSONAL LOG //ENTRY BY CLEMENTINE LAFLEUR //DATE YC122.10.29   I have woken up to see reports flooding in via Galnet of Blood Raider fleets making their annual raids of high and lowsec space. It marks the start of what they call Crimson Harvest and it will be my first time actually seeing it. The older classmates at the University would tell scare stories of Amarrian cults that would capture you because you were a clone, believing that your blood was sacred to them. They would string you upside down and drain you like cattle and bath in your blood. They wouldn't kill you straight away no, you would be kept alive to ensure every last drop was squeezed out of you. You would suffer a very long and painful death until you were recloned. They would somethings finish the story with a crescendo of evil laughter, which seems cheesy now I think about it. I didn't know what to expect, but Edward (aka Mantel) our FC reassured me that it was going to be a straightforward exercise. We were to form up in Tanoo ready to attack an Astrahus class citadel owned by an individual named Silas Vitalia. I had been told she had upset quite a few people, enough to warrant the destruction of her base. Our CEO Charles said that we had been contracted to carry out the destruction of it and that as far as he knew, it was going to be just us.
